At the opening of the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Current Issues of the Psychology of Personality: Identity and Adaptability,” the Vice-Rector of the University of Practical Psychology and Sociology “Urartu,” Jemma Bagdasaryan, delivered a welcoming address on behalf of the Rector.
She warmly congratulated the Russian-Armenian University on the organization of such a significant scientific forum and particularly noted that holding large-scale international conferences by the Department of Psychology of RAU has become a cherished tradition — one that carries special meaning in the year of the Department’s 20th anniversary.
The Vice-Rector emphasized the importance of a deep understanding of the psychological functions of personality and the realization of its inner potential, as well as the necessity of active scientific research and broad exchange of achievements among scholars and practitioners.
Special attention was drawn to the key themes of the conference: the adaptation of personality in a rapidly changing modern world, the transformation of core beliefs under the influence of traumatic experience, the relationship between psychological well-being, personal identity and adaptability, as well as the psychological characteristics of personality in various life contexts.
In closing, Jemma Bagdasaryan wished all participants inspiration, meaningful discussions, and fruitful work.
