Acceptance into master’s program is held without examination, on a competitive basis, on the basis of the average quality grade (GPA) of the subjects registered in the diploma supplement.
In the case of an equal GPA for applicants, the following criteria are taken into account as a matter of priority:
- Average grade point or average quality grade in professional subjects;
- Availability of published or accepted scientific works;
- Availability of abstracts and reports;
- Average grade point or average quality grade in non professional subjects.

Postgraduate Educational Program
Psychology
The application for admission to the postgraduate program is submitted by the person or his / her authorized person in the name of the head of the institution, attaching the following documents:
- Copies of the diploma of the bachelor and master or diploma of specialist or resident and their supplements (for those who have received higher professional education in foreign countries, a document on the adequacy of education)
- Foreign language, Informatics and Information communication basics attestation certificate or corresponding certificate in evaluation (defined by the internal threshold with score evaluation)
- A copy of at least one scholarly work or scholarly paper published in a chosen field within 20 printed pages
- CV and three photos (size 3 x 4)
- Extract from the workbook (if available)
Admission to the postgraduate program is carried out by the admission commission established by the order of the head of the institution:
- The minimum required score obtained in Informatics or Information communication bases is 25 points
The minimum required score obtained in any of the foreign languages is considered:
In English:
- TOEFL (iBT) – 46 points
- IELTS – 5.5 points
In French:
- TCF – 200 points
In German:
- OnDaf – 60 points
The Admissions Committee makes a decision on each applicant based on the results of the contest. Applicants will be notified of the results of the contest within seven working days after the professional examination.
Postgraduate education is carried out on a credit system. In the full-time education system the duration of studies does not exceed 3 years, in the part-time – 4 years.
Joint Research
Applicants to joint research projects can be those with a master’s degree or a diploma, and those with a medical degree qualified as physicians, and those with a clinical degree qualified as a doctor-specialist.
The application for registration as an applicant is submitted by the person or his / her authorized person in the name of the head of the institution, attaching the following documents:
- Copies of the diploma of the master or diploma specialist or resident and their supplements (for those who have received higher professional education in foreign countries, a document on the adequacy of their education)
- List of published scientific works or scientific abstract from the chosen profession.
- CV and three photos (3 x 4 size)
- Extract from the workbook (if available)
According to the procedure established by the institution, the applicant is registered by the order of the head of the institution, a contract is signed with him.
The application is made on a paid and free basis, the duration does not exceed 5 years.
The difference between joint research project and postgraduate studies at the moment is that the applicant, unlike postgraduate students, does not take entrance exams. Only a certain amount of work or professional experience is required to apply.
Continuing/Further/Education
“URARTU” University offers concise or brief professional education programs for those with other specialties, as well as specialized vocational education programs for psychologists, educators and social workers.
These professional continuing education programs have the following characteristics:
- Accumulation of continuing education credits
- 3, 6 or 12 months duration
- 3 or 4.5 hours per week online or offline
- At least once a month 3-4.5 hours of seminar / practical work, or personalized mentoring practical training/
- One or more subjects in each program
- Description of a specific skill transfer
- Final exam
- Awarded a certified title corresponding to the given skill
