WHO CAN RECEIVE AN HONORS DIPLOMA?
The diploma of honor is awarded to graduates who have passed the final certification (final theses and master’s theses defenses) with an “excellent” grade (18, 19, 20) and who have scored 90% of the maximum GPA (18 and above).
The results of the final work and master’s thesis defense are assessed as “excellent”, “good”, “satisfactory” or “unsatisfactory”. Grades are announced on the same day, after drawing up the minutes of the meeting of the final certification commission, within one hour.
Based on the report on the positive results of the final work and the defense of the master’s thesis, the final certification commission makes a decision to assign the graduate the appropriate qualification and award him a diploma of higher education. In case of a negative result (“unsatisfactory” and “did not appear”), the graduate is not assigned a qualification and is not issued a diploma of higher education.
